Description
This proposal is to enable Superfluid Staking on the INJ/OSMO (#725) pool on Osmosis. \n## Details\nINJ/OSMO pool has been incentivized on Osmosis since Prop #294 was passed in August 2022 and currently has ~$1,253,000 in TVL, with ~1,193,000 OSMO. At the current superfluid risk factor of 25%, superfluid staking would allow a further ~895,000 OSMO to be used to secure the network through staking. \n## About Injective The Injective blockchain is a layer-1 decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that enables high-speed, low-cost trading of any asset, including traditional financial instruments such as stocks, forex, and futures. Injective is built on top of the Cosmos SDK and uses Tendermint consensus to achieve high throughput and scalability. The INJ token is used to power the Injective ecosystem, including staking, governance, and fees. \n\nHigh throughput: The Injective blockchain can process up to 100,000 transactions per second, making it one of the most scalable DeFi platforms available. \n\nLow cost: Injective transactions are very low-cost, making it a more affordable option for traders and investors. \n\nCross-chain compatibility: The Injective blockchain is cross-chain compatible, meaning that users can trade assets from different blockchains on the same platform. \n\nDecentralized governance: The Injective protocol is governed by the INJ token holders, who can vote on proposals to improve the platform. The Injective blockchain is a promising new platform that has the potential to revolutionize the DeFi industry. With its high throughput, low cost, and cross-chain compatibility, Injective makes it possible to trade any asset on a decentralized platform. \n\nInjective currently holds approximately $21.95m in TVL\n\n Commonwealth Thread: https://commonwealth.im/osmosis/discussion/11610-enable-superfluid-staking-on-the-injosmo-725-pool-on-osmosis
